THE GAP PROJECT – eine Rückschau auf unsere erste Show
Das Kollektiv der vier Heidelbergerinnen schaut auf 6 Wochen Laufzeit, diverse Höhepunkte und knapp zwei Jahre Planung zurück.
Alles begann mit einer wagemutigen Idee. Der Zufall brachte uns vier zusammen… Aber wie genau sind wir gestartet, was hat uns zu diesem Projekt bewegt und woran sind wir fast verzweifelt?
Wir lassen uns von Johannah Illgner alles fragen und geben Einblicke in unsere Arbeitsroutine, Motivation und sprechen auch über Grenzen, die wir mit GAP nicht nur angekratzt, sondern auch überschritten haben.
Ein ganz persönliches Gespräch über ein Projekt, dass mehr ist, als eine weiter Zeile in unserem Lebenslauf.
Im Anschluss gibt es gemütlichen Ausklingen, bei kleinen Snacks und Getränken. Jetzt ist kurz Zeit, um Mal wirklich gar nichts zu tun. Die Beine hochlegen, bevor es an den Abbau geht.

Johannah Illgner ist studierte Politikwissenschaftlerin und Ethnologin (M.A.). Sie ist als politische Beraterin mit ihrer Agentur Plan W – Agentur für strategische Kommunikation in Heidelberg tätig. Sie ist Expertin für diversitybewusste Kommunikation, (Queer-) Feminismus, Female Networking und Antidiskriminierung. Daneben ist sie ehrenamtlich in frauen- undqueerpolitischen Kontexten aktiv.

The collective of four Heidelberg-based artists reflects on six weeks of exhibition time, countless highlights, and nearly two years of planning.
It all began with a bold idea. Chance brought the four of us together… but how exactly did we get started? What motivated us to launch this project, and at which moments did we almost lose our minds along the way?
In this conversation, we open up to Johannah Illgner, who will ask us everything. We’ll share insights into our working process, what drives us, and the limits we not only touched with GAP – but pushed through.

After the talk, we’ll wind down together with snacks and drinks — a small moment to do absolutely nothing before we begin dismantling the exhibition. Feet up, heart full.

About Johannah Illgner
Johannah Illgner holds an M.A. in Political Science and Ethnology. She works as a political consultant with her Heidelberg-based agency Plan W – Agency for Strategic Communication. She is an expert in diversity-conscious communication, queer feminism, female networking, and anti-discrimination. She is also actively engaged in feminist and queer political initiatives on a voluntary basis.
